Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As we near the final stages of adopting the state budget, I’ve been working hard in Albany to fight for the priorities of my constituents and all New Yorkers - from strengthening our education system and enhancing public safety to protecting our environment. As Chair of the Assembly Health Committee, I’m especially focused on securing the resources our healthcare system needs. While uncertainty remains about potential federal cuts, I am committed to doing everything possible to protect and support New York’s healthcare infrastructure in this budget.
Please follow me on my Assembly Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts or visit my Assembly website to stay updated on my legislative happenings. If there is anything you have questions about, or that my office can assist you with, please email me at paulina@nyassembly.gov or call (914) 723-1115.
Sincerely,
Amy Paulin

Working to Lower C-Section Rates

Thank you to the hospitals from across NYS that joined me to discuss maternal health and c-section reduction programs.
Supporting Renewable Energy

I rallied with the New York League of Conservation Voters and the Building Decarbonization Coalition for fully funding Underground Thermal Energy Networks (UTENs) in the upcoming budget. A SUNY Purchase UTEN project will allow the campus to reduce over 65% of its greenhouse gas emissions, and would ultimately support renewable energy throughout the surrounding area.
Rallying for Midwives

I was proud to rally in Albany in support of my legislation, A.1125, which would establish a route to licensure for Certified Professional Midwives.

Meet Tommy! He's available for adoption at the Humane Society of Westchester.
This 3-year-old cockapoo came to us in bad shape! Matted, wet and cold, Tommy was brought in by someone who found him roaming the street. Tommy likes to play with stuffed toys and go on walks. We think the best home for him will be an adult home where he can be given time to come out of his shell and settle into the good life.
If you'd like to set up an appointment to meet Tommy, please visit the Humane Society of Westchester website to complete an adoption application. Once your application is submitted please call the shelter at 914-632-2925 to meet Tommy!
