Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As your representative in Albany, I am proud to share that I once again passed more bills in both houses of the Legislature than any other Assemblymember ā 38 in total during the 2025 session.
Today, Iād like to share six of those bills that I authored and passed for children and families. When we safeguard our children, we protect our future and the future of New York State.
š¶ A.268 ā Bans the sale of infant walkers, which the American Academy of Pediatrics have deemed unsafe for babies and toddlers.
š« A.957 ā Streamlines payment to school-based health centers, maintaining their financial viability and protecting access to healthcare for hundreds of thousands of New York students.
š A.1382 ā Trains daycare inspectors on the identification of controlled substances, preventing senseless tragedies from happening in daycare centers.
š A.1944 ā Allows individuals over 18 adopted from foreign countries to receive birth certificates in New York State.
𤰠A.2057 ā Creates further protections for surrogates and parents.
š§āāļø A.7325 ā Authorizes school psychologists to provide early intervention services for children ages 0 to 3 with developmental delays and disabilities.
I look forward to sharing more highlights with you soon. And as your Assemblywoman, I always want to hear your views. My staff is available to help you with concerns or questions via any of the methods below:

Member of Assembly, 88th District
Here's a look back at some of the wonderful moments I've shared with the children and families across my district this year - I cherish spending time with them, hearing their stories, and being their voice in Albany. and I'm so proud to fight for legislation that supports families.
