Assemblyman Santabarbara to Host 45th Annual Legislative Disability Awareness Day at the State Capitol

Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, a longtime advocate for people with disabilities and Chair of the Assembly Committee on People with Disabilities, will host the 45th Annual Legislative Disability Awareness Day on Thursday, May 8th at the State Capitol. This high-profile event brings together lawmakers, advocates, and leaders in disability services to unveil this year’s legislative priorities aimed at improving access, inclusion, and quality of life for New Yorkers with disabilities.

Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie will join Santabarbara at the opening ceremony, along with other influential voices in the disability community, including Gregory J. Sorrentino, President/CEO of the Center for Disability Services, and John Robinson, CEO of Our Ability, Inc.
