“I’m encouraged by the news that an out-of-state entertainment company wants to develop a studio right in our backyard. This development further demonstrates the need for legislation I authored, which passed both houses, will allow Schenectady and Albany counties to be eligible for Empire State Film Production tax credits (A.7425). I believe that our region has tremendous potential to become a film hub, and I will continue fighting for my legislation to become law to help boost economic growth and jumpstart job creation.”
