Freedom’s Knocking: Assemblyman DiPietro And Senator Marchione To Deliver NY SAFE Act Repeal Petitions

Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C-East Aurora) and State Senator Kathy Marchione (R,C-Halfmoon) will be joined by Second Amendment advocates as they deliver signed petitions against Gov. Cuomo’s NY SAFE Act to the governor’s chamber next Tuesday, June 11 at 10 a.m.
“We’ve had a lot of rallies and a lot of discussion on a bill I was proud to vote against,” DiPietro said. “I am inviting those who signed this petition to join me in Albany and get involved. Supporters will take stacks of petitions to the governor’s door alongside Senator Marchione and me.”
All members of the public who signed Assemblyman DiPietro’s petition were invited to attend the petition drop-off as well as other corresponding events that will be taking place that day in Albany, including a SCOPE-sponsored rally outside of the State Captiol. Anyone still interested in signing up is encouraged to contact the Assemblyman immediately.
