“Today, the Assembly Minority held a press conference in the state Capitol to announce our introduction of an impeachment resolution for Gov. Cuomo. It is clear that the governor is unfit to continue representing the people of New York. If he refuses to do the right thing and resign, we need to take matters into our own hands and remove him from office. Our resolution calls for a simple vote in the Assembly on the matter of impeachment. I urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to put politics aside, come together and show New Yorkers that the behavior of Gov. Cuomo and his enablers is unacceptable.”
