DiPietro Energized by Cuomo’s Resignation Announcement, Will Continue Fighting for Accountability
A statement from Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C,I-East Aurora)
August 10, 2021
“For the first time since becoming governor, Andrew Cuomo has finally done something in the best interest of the people of New York. After years of corruption, cover-ups, using his office to stuff his pockets with millions of dollars and, finally, the death of thousands of New York nursing home patients, it is time this man be held accountable for his actions.
“This is not the end of the story. I will continue to fight for the countless victims of Cuomo’s depravity and will never cease to speak truth to power. Andrew Cuomo is guilty of numerous crimes and must be held responsible. The families and loved ones of 15,000 nursing home victims and New Yorkers deserve justice and we must keep fighting.
