Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz (R,C-Oyster Bay) recently hosted this year’s Toys for Tots holiday toy drive and was very proud of the turnout. Blumencranz partnered with several libraries in the area including the Gold Coast, Hicksville, Syosset, Jericho, Locust Valley and Bethpage libraries to serve as drop-off locations. Participants also dropped off new, unwrapped toys at the assemblyman’s district office. Blumencranz hopes this event will have a positive impact on the community and is encouraging residents of the 15th Assembly District to remember those less fortunate this time of year.

“This year’s Toys for Tots drive was a total success and showed the generosity of Long Islanders during the holiday season,” said Blumencranz. “With many families struggling to make ends meet, events like this can make a difference for children in need. I want to thank all the libraries who partnered with us and the participants who donated to support their community for making the holidays a special time for everyone.”
