Brabenec Resolution Honoring EMS Week Passes Assembly

Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,C-Deerpark) announced that his resolution (K539) officially recognizing Emergency Medical Services Week—May 18 – 25, 2025—passed the Assembly today with unanimous support.

“Our EMS workers are the first to respond in our moments of greatest need,” said Brabenec. “This resolution is a small but meaningful way to say thank you to the heroes who save lives every single day.”

Brabenec praised both volunteer and professional EMS personnel for their dedication, especially in underserved and rural communities. He called the resolution a first step toward greater support for EMS providers statewide.

“Recognizing EMS Week is important—but the real goal is to make sure these heroes have the tools and resources they need to keep doing their jobs,” he added.
