“This week, I became aware of Assembly Bill A.8381, which would make it a crime to impersonate firefighters. Although the bill was first introduced in May of this year, it had not come to my attention until now. After reviewing it, I immediately requested to be added as a co-sponsor and will strongly support the bill if it comes before the Assembly.

“I want to commend and thank all those who answer the call to serve their communities—especially the volunteer firefighters who put their lives on the line for others. As the son of a first responder, I will always make protecting them and supporting their service a top priority.”
