Queens, NY – Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D, WF-Fresh Meadows), Council Member Linda Lee (D-Oakland Gardens), and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards (D-Queens), partnered with NYC Department of Transportation to host a Free Bike Helmet Giveaway at Tall Oak Playground in Oakland Gardens on Sunday. The annual bike helmet giveaway returned after a pandemic hiatus. A total of 855 adults and children were fitted for and received free bike helmets while learning about bike safety measures.
