Assemblywoman Rozic and the Coalition of Asian-American IPA Push for Greater Healthcare Access for AAPI Community
Albany, NY – Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D-Fresh Meadows) met with the Coalition of Asian American Independent Practice Association (CAIPA) to discuss the need for expanding access to quality, affordable healthcare for the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in this year’s state budget. CAIPA plays a critical role in bridging healthcare disparities by connecting providers and patients with essential services across New York.
“Ensuring that all New Yorkers, especially those in underserved communities, have access to quality healthcare is a top priority. I am proud to stand with CAIPA in advocating for policies that improve healthcare accessibility and outcomes for the AAPI community,” said Assemblywoman Nily Rozic.
“CAIPA's network of nearly 1,400 independent providers deliver care to over 500,000 members of the AAPI community in the greater New York City area. CAIPA is grateful for the support of Assemblywoman Nily Rozic to advance our mission of uniting top healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to New Yorkers in a cost-effective approach,” said CAIPA Chief Operating Officer Peggy Sheng.
