Rozic Discusses Senior Services with India Home

Flushing, NY – At her district office, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) met with India Home, an organization providing services for seniors in the South Asian and Indo-Caribbean communities in Queens. Rozic met with Selvia Sikder, Program Manager, and Mukund Mehta, Board President, to discuss India Home’s outreach in the district and opportunities to improve access to vital programming including meals, case management, mental health and wellness services, and ESL classes. India Home currently operates centers in Sunnyside, Kew Gardens, and Jamaica and serves immigrant seniors from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Tibet, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Guyana, Trinidad, and Uganda.
