"Every day in my community if you pass…the large box stores you see the day laborers who are anxious and ready to work and provide an income for their families so, it's important that no matter how many laws we have on the books we have not been able to protect those workers who put their lives at risk only for a good day's wages to take home to their families," said Assembly Member Alicia Hyndman, in support of Carlos's Law, which protects workers from employers and supervisors that negligently fail to comply with safety protocols.
