My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all the families affected by the terrible tragedy in Haiti, especially for those who lost loved ones. My office is working directly with local Haitian groups and community leaders to aid local families who need assistance. As in the past when our community has faced hardships, we are again joining together as a community to put our compassion into action on behalf of those who are in need of support.
