Assemblyman Sam Pirozzolo (R,C-Staten Island) presented PS 30 - The Westerleigh School and members of the student council with the $20,000 Bullet Aid grant earlier this week. Pirozzolo secured the grant in this year's budget, which was part of a $40,000 aid package, and will be used to purchase much-needed resources for their students.

PS 30 is a public school in the heart of Staten Island that aims to provide students with a rich education in a supportive environment. Their curriculums help teach students the skills needed to be successful academically and socially.
